Certified as Master Naturalist

I became certified as Master Naturalist by the Capitol Area Master Naturalists. I completed an extensive curriculum and volunteer requirements in 2008. Ceremony was held at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve on Sunday February 15.

Leaving for Big Bend

I will leave for the deserts and mountains of Big Bend at the end of February. I am hoping to find a route to the base of the newly opened Christmas Mountains Preserve.
