The images here are studies in boundaries. Where two entities meet, something else is born. I'm looking at the boundary between earth and sky and what we see as a result. Sometimes the result is like a Rorschach test. We create our own reality or narratives. Sometimes it is a meditation on humankind's subjugation of nature. Other times I liken it to music, a lyrical product of fields meeting.
Generally, these images are produced in a similar way. I find a horizon that produces a line that engages me. Usually the time is dusk or dawn. The setting or rising sun behind the section of earth I'm studying produces two color fields. The meeting of these two fields draws the line.
